Pantheon Closes Largest-Ever $3.2bn Global Co-Investment Fund

– Pantheon has completed the final close of Pantheon Global Co-Investment Opportunities Fund VI (PGCO VI)and related vehicles, raising $3.2 billion, making it the firm’s largest dedicated co-investment fund to date.

– The fund is a core part of Pantheon’s $41 billion private equity platform and builds on the firm’s dedicated co-investment strategy launched in 2009.

– PGCO VI focuses on mid-market investments in non-bank financials, industrials, business services, and technology, partnering with specialist general partners to drive value creation.

– The strategy emphasizes efficient capital deployment and diversified portfolio construction across managers, sectors, and vintages.

– The fund close follows a record $1.3 billion deployed across 30 co-investment transactions in 2025, highlighting strong proprietary deal flow and continued investor demand for direct co-investments.

Jeffrey Miller, CFA, Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Private Equity, said the successful raise reflects Pantheon’s 17-year track record, deep GP relationships, high-quality proprietary deal flow, and disciplined underwriting capabilities across the mid-market.

Florence Dard, Chief Client Officer, noted that investor demand continues to grow globally, with the strongest expansion coming from Asia, including investors from several new countries.

– Pension funds remain the largest source of capital, while the investor base has broadened to include sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, asset managers, family offices, and endowments.

– Pantheon manages approximately $84 billion in assets under management and has over 40 years of experienceinvesting across primary funds, co-investments, and secondaries in private equity, infrastructure, and private credit.
