Northleaf Capital Partners closes inaugural asset-based specialty finance fund at ~$450 Million

– Northleaf Capital Partners has closed its inaugural Northleaf Asset-Based Specialty Finance (NASF) fund with approximately US$450 million in commitments, including co-investment vehicles.

– The strategy targets low-correlation, cash-generative asset-based specialty finance, offering diversification and downside protection.

– Northleaf has invested approximately US$1.4 billion across 21 investments in asset-based specialty finance since entering the market in 2018.

JD Gettmann, CFA has joined Northleaf as Managing Director and Global Head of Asset-Based Specialty Finance, coming from MidCap Financial, where he co-founded and led the Lender Finance business.
