– Hg has agreed to sell its majority stake in Quantios, a leading SaaS provider for the global trust and corporate services industry, to Vista Equity Partners.
– Hg initially invested in TrustQuay in 2022 and, in 2023, merged it with ViewPoint (owned by funds managed by EQT) to create Quantios.
– Under Hg’s ownership, Quantios expanded into a global platform serving nearly 700 organisations worldwide, supported by its Quantios Core and Klea solutions.
– Hg Catalyst, Hg’s dedicated AI incubator and engineering team, helped develop the company’s AI roadmap and launched Quantios’ first agentic AI solution in March 2026.
– The transaction is expected to generate an approximately 30% uplift to Hg’s latest book value.
– Christopher Fielding, Partner, Hg and Conor Stewart, Principal, Hg, said Hg helped strengthen Quantios’ leadership, integrate two businesses into a global platform, and position the company as an early leader in agentic AI, adding that Vista is well placed to support its next phase of innovation and growth.
– Guy Harrison, CEO of Quantios, said the partnership with Hg and EQT enabled the company to scale internationally, accelerate product development, and help clients transition through cloud adoption and now agentic AI, positioning the business for its next stage of growth with Vista.
– The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in Q3 2026. Baird and Deutsche Bank acted as financial advisors to Hg.
