Francisco Partners Closes $21 Billion Across Two Technology Investment Funds

– Francisco Partners has closed $21 billion in capital commitments across its flagship Francisco Partners VIII, L.P. fund and Francisco Partners Agility IV, L.P., its middle-market fund, exceeding initial targets of $14 billionand $3.5 billion, respectively.

– The fundraise marks Francisco Partners’ largest in its 27-year history, bringing the firm’s total capital raised to more than $75 billion.

– Co-Founder and CEO Dipanjan Deb said the firm’s long-term success has been built on “relationships built on years of trust and collaboration,” thanking investors, management teams, partners, lenders, and employees for their contribution to the firm’s growth.

– Global Head of Investor Relations Andrew Brown said the successful close reflects limited partners’ confidence in Francisco Partners’ investment team and the strength of relationships built over more than two decades, while welcoming new institutional partners globally.

– Francisco Partners believes its sector-focused approach provides a competitive advantage, particularly during periods of disruption and rapid innovation.
