– GTCR held the final close of its inaugural Capital Solutions Fund and affiliated vehicles, raising approximately $1.25 billion in aggregate commitments.
– The fund was supported almost entirely by existing long-term GTCR limited partners, including public and corporate pension plans, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and financial institutions.
– The Fund has already completed several investments.
– The strategy focuses on providing minority structured equity and debt capital, primarily to middle-market companies, to support M&A, growth initiatives, and value creation.
– The Capital Solutions team works closely with GTCR’s industry investment teams and Capital Markets team, led by Managing Director Jim B., combining structured investing expertise with sector knowledge and sourcing capabilities.
– The senior Capital Solutions team includes Managing Director Jason Prager, and Principal Alisha Chaudhary.
– Co-CEOs Dean Mihas and Collin Roche said the new fund expands GTCR’s investment platform by enabling minority structured investments that complement the firm’s Flagship and Strategic Growth Funds while offering tailored growth capital solutions.
– Jodi (Hochberger) Rubenstein, Managing Director and Head of Investor Relations, thanked longstanding investors for their support and said the Fund is positioned to meet growing demand for structured minority capital while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns.
