SkyKnight Capital Closes $2 Billion Fund V

– SkyKnight Capital held the final close of SkyKnight Capital Fund V on July 1, 2026, securing $2 billion in commitments from endowments, foundations, pension funds, family offices, and institutional investors.

– Fund V was more than three times oversubscribed in less than six months, with over 100% net retention from existing limited partners, reflecting strong investor demand and loyalty.

Mara Hunt, Partner, said the oversubscribed fundraising and full LP retention demonstrate the trust investors place in SkyKnight, adding that the firm remains focused on delivering differentiated private equity performance and a strong investor experience.

Matthew Ebbel, Managing Partner, said Fund V marks a significant milestone for the firm and will support its strategy of investing in approximately a dozen companies, partnering closely with management teams to build industry-leading businesses.

– Following the close, SkyKnight manages approximately $6.5 billion in assets and has expanded to a team of 35 professionals.
