Queen’s Park Equity Closes Second Fund at £305 Million

– Queen’s Park Equity (QPE) successfully closed its second fund, QPE Fund II, at £305 million, oversubscribed.

– The fundraise was completed in just four months, with £30 million committed by QPE’s expanded Ambassador Network, representing approximately 10% of total commitments.

– Existing investors showed strong support, with a re-up rate of 114%, while new institutional investors also joined, having tracked QPE for several years.

– The £305 million raised is over 50% more than QPE Fund I, which closed at £202 million in December 2020.

– The blue-chip investor base includes endowments, foundations, institutional family offices, pension funds, and fund-of-funds.

– QPE Fund II will continue the strategy of Fund I, focusing on education, health & pharma, and tech-enabled business services sectors, supporting both organic and acquisitive growth.

Jonny Kay, QPE Managing Partner, highlighted the success of the fundraise, reflecting confidence in QPE’s strategy and team.

Jose Rodriguez Cesenas, Managing Partner, emphasized the role of QPE’s Ambassador Network in supporting accelerated growth and creating value for partnerships.

– QPE Fund I recently made its twelfth partnership investment with Wordwall and completed its first exit with Encore, returning up to 7.6x MMx to investors.

– QPE also completed 16 follow-on investments with a proprietary deal completion rate above 65%.
