Mubadala Commits €300 Million to Partner with Actis in Rezolv Energy, Accelerating Renewable Growth in Central and Eastern Europe

•   Mubadala Investment Company, the Abu Dhabi sovereign investor, has committed around €300 million to partner with Actis in Rezolv Energy, a fast-growing renewable energy platform in Central and Eastern Europe.

•   The investment supports Mubadala’s strategy to back leading platforms that accelerate the global energy transition and build resilient infrastructure for long-term economic growth.

•   Since its launch by Actis, Rezolv Energy has become a key clean power player in Central and Eastern Europe, addressing energy security challenges and climate policy goals.

•   Rezolv Energy currently has about 750MW of renewable projects under construction in Romania and Bulgaria.

•   The platform also has a 1.5GW pipeline of projects in advanced development, including Dama in Romania, Europe’s largest solar power generation project.

•   Rezolv Energy is built on over 15 years of regional clean energy experience, with a management team behind landmark wind projects in Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Romania.

•   The combined commitment from Mubadala and Actis is expected to accelerate Rezolv Energy’s growth toward becoming the leading renewable energy champion in Central and Eastern Europe.

Saed Arar of Mubadala highlighted the investment as aligned with scaling real assets that support the low-carbon transition, alongside a trusted and experienced partner in Actis.

Alastair Hammond of Rezolv Energy noted that Mubadala’s entry as a shareholder will enable greater ambition and faster progress in the region’s energy transition.

Lucy Heintz of Actis emphasized investor demand for resilient, scalable sustainable infrastructure and welcomed Mubadala’s endorsement of Actis’ long-term investment strategy.
