– B Capital announced the final close of B Capital Ascent Fund III, L.P. (“Ascent Fund III”) at its hard cap of $500 million in capital commitments.

– The fund was oversubscribed and nearly doubled the size of its predecessor, B Capital Ascent Fund II ($254 million closed in July 2022), supported by strong demand from existing and new investors.

– Ascent Fund III will continue B Capital’s mission of partnering with entrepreneurs building transformative technology companies.

– The fund will invest primarily in Seed, Series A, and Series B rounds across:
Healthcare, Enterprise technology, Energy, and Frontier technologies.
