FFL Partners Closes Fund VI With Over $1.35 Billion in Commitments

– FFL Partners (“FFL”), a private equity firm focused on growth investments, announced the closing of FFL Capital Partners VI, L.P. and related vehicles (“Fund VI”), with over $1.35 billion in total commitments, 50% larger than Fund V.

– Fund VI attracted commitments from a diversified group of existing and new investors, including public and private pensions, financial institutions, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and family offices.

– Cas Schneller, Managing Partner at FFL, said strong historical performance helped attract larger investors, enabling the firm to close well above its $1 billion target despite a challenging fundraising environment. He also highlighted the support of existing limited partners and the addition of a blue-chip group of new investors.

– Fund VI will continue FFL’s Sector Exploration and Expertise Development (SEED) strategy, targeting Healthcare and Tech-Enabled Services companies with attractive growth prospects, strong competitive positions, muted cyclicality and high-quality management teams. The fund will make equity investments of $50 million to $200 million in control or significant minority transactions.

– Chris Harris, Managing Partner at FFL, said the strategy focuses on narrowly defined sub-sectors where the firm can partner with exceptional founders and management teams, leveraging its domain expertise and operating resources to accelerate growth and drive sustained value creation.

– FFL has already been actively investing Fund VI capital in companies across its core sectors, including JANUS RX LLC, Pioneer HOA, Waylin Partners and Ally Technical.
