Serent Capital Closes $1.3 Billion Fund VI

– Serent Capital closed Serent Capital VI, L.P. with $1.3 billion in investor commitments, marking the largest fundraise in the firm’s history and bringing total capital raised to more than $5 billion.

– Fund VI was significantly oversubscribed, with existing investors driving the raise; the fund was more than 2x oversubscribed from current LPs, while only a small number of new investors were added. The fundraising process concluded in less than 90 days with a single close.

– The firm will continue its strategy of investing in Founder-led software and technology-enabled services companies, making both majority and minority investments in businesses with strong product-market fit, recurring revenue potential, and durable business models.
