KKR Completes US$2.5 Billion Asia Private Credit Fundraise

– KKR completed a US$2.5 billion fundraise focused on privately originated performing credit investments in Asia Pacific

– The raise comprises US$1.8 billion for KKR Asia Credit Opportunities Fund II (ACOF II) and US$700 million from separately managed accounts

– At close, ACOF II is the largest pan-regional performing private credit fund in Asia Pacific

– This follows KKR’s inaugural Asia Pacific private credit fund, which closed at US$1.1 billion in 2022

– Through ACOF II, KKR has signed 10 investments representing US$1.9 billion in KKR commitments and US$4.6 billion in total transaction volume

Diane Raposio, Partner and Head of Asia Credit & Markets at KKR, said Asia is a core pillar of KKR’s global credit strategy, with ACOF II demonstrating the scale of its pan-Asia credit platform and strong investor demand across the region

– KKR’s Asia Credit platform provides bespoke private credit solutions across private and liquid markets, leveraging local and global resources

– ACOF II focuses on performing privately originated credit across three themes: senior and unitranche direct lending, capital solutions, and collateral-backed investments

– SJ Lim, Managing Director and Head of Asia Private Credit at KKR, highlighted private credit as a growing opportunity in Asia, driven by demand for flexible, partnership-oriented financing aligned with long-term structural trends

– The Fund attracted a diverse investor base including insurers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, banks, corporates, and asset managers

– Since 2019, KKR has completed over 60 Asia credit investments, with US$8.3 billion invested and US$27.5 billion in total transaction value

– Investments span sectors including healthcare, education, real estate, logistics, and infrastructure

– Target markets include Australia, Greater China, India, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia

– KKR has built one of the largest global credit investment platforms over the past two decades

– As of September 30, 2025, KKR manages approximately US$282 billion in credit assets globally

– This includes approximately US$143 billion in leveraged credit, US$131 billion in private credit, and US$8 billion in strategic investments

– KKR’s global credit platform is supported by around 250 credit investment professionals across 12 offices worldwide
