– QEIF III raised over €1.4 billion, exceeding the initial target of €1.25 billion set in H2 2023.
– An additional €400 million was raised in co-investment capacity alongside QEIF III.
– Since launching its infrastructure business 10 years ago, QUAERO CAPITAL has raised a total of €2.7 billion.
– Approximately 40% of QEIF III will be committed by the end of January 2026.
– The fund’s strategy: provide equity financing for European infrastructure projects during construction and operations, targeting assets with development and growth potential.
– Multi-sector focus: energy, transport, telecommunications, social infrastructure, water, and environment.
– Investment approach: primarily traditional project finance, focusing on concessions and PPPs.
– QUAERO CAPITAL has financed more than €7 billion in CAPEX since 2016.
– Strong demand exists, particularly in the transport sector, which is seeing a revival after years of slowdown.
– Sébastien Bourget, Managing Partner, noted investor confidence in France, Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg, supporting rapid expansion in Europe, North America, and Asia.
– Alongside QEIF III, QUAERO CAPITAL completed asset sales from QEIF I (launched 2016, divesting since 2022) with a net multiple of over 2.1x.
– QEIF II (launched 2019) is finalising disposals with a similar outcome.
